Annual Events

Yearly 4 events are celebrated  with devotion and passion in the temple.

• Sri Seeta Rama Kalyanam The temple has got Pancha Loha Utsavar (courtesy of Donor sri VVPS Prasad) to whom the kalyanam is performed. This is the first event to be celebrated in the new year (the 9th day of first month of telugu calendar). Last time we had around 500 Devotees who flocked the temple. Annadanam follows Kalyanam.
• Vinayaka Chaviti A big idol of  GANESH Idol is placed in the temple for 9 days and Pooja is performed daily. The colony members themselves bring the PRASADAMS and offer them to the God GANESHA. On 9th Day, we take out the idol for immersion and do the Nimarjanam in Tank Bund. Annadanam will be organized on the last day.
• Dusshera/Dasara A big idol of DURGA MATA  placed in the temple for 5 days and Pooja is performed daily. The colony members themselves bring the PRASADAMS and offer them to the Durga Maata. On the VIJAYA DASAMI Day, we take out the idol for immersion and do the Nimarjanam in Tank Bund.
• Guru Pournami Special Pooja is offered to Saibaba on this day.

About The Temple

The "Sree Sita Rama Anjaneya Swami" temple is located at Ashok Vihar Colony, Opposite Pillar No: 195, PVNR Express highway, Upperpally, Hyderabad. A Saibaba Mandiram, Vinayaka Madapam and a small Anjaneya Swamy  temple (60 years old) are also present in the temple premises.

The temple is very peaceful and has good place to sit and meditate. Visit the temple we are sure you will feel the difference.

Temple History

Praana Pratishta: The Prana Pratisthaapanam of  the temple was performed on April 13 2009. The Idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Anjaneya were Installed along with a Sai Baba, and small Ganesh Temple.
